Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the PC Web Server website, accounts, checkout, downloads, licensing, updates, support, services, and software. PC Web Server is provided by PC Web Systems LLC (“PC Web Systems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the website, creating an account, purchasing, downloading, installing, or using PC Web Server, you agree to these Terms.

1. Product purpose

PC Web Server is Windows software designed to help you install, configure, operate, and manage website hosting components and related services on a computer you control.

2. Accounts

You may need an account to purchase, download, register, update, or receive support. You agree to provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and remain responsible for activity under your account.

3. Purchases and payments

Purchases may be processed through Square or another authorized processor. Prices, discounts, availability, and offers may change before purchase. A purchase is complete only after payment is verified and accepted.

4. License grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of required fees, PC Web Systems grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use PC Web Server within the edition, account, version, and device limits associated with your purchase or trial.

5. Registration and license checks

The software may require registration and server checks to verify license, device, update, and download eligibility. Access may be limited or denied when verification fails, a license is revoked, or a device or account is unauthorized.

6. Downloads and updates

Downloads and updates may use account verification, short-lived tokens, hashes, digital signatures, and package validation. You may not bypass, tamper with, scrape, or abuse these systems.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use the website, software, and services lawfully and in compliance with contracts, hosting rules, privacy obligations, and the rights of others. You are responsible for the websites, files, databases, email, logs, applications, and other content hosted or managed through your systems.

8. Prohibited conduct

  • Use the product or services for malware, fraud, phishing, unlawful surveillance, harassment, spam, credential theft, illegal content, or unauthorized access.
  • Reverse engineer, crack, bypass, or defeat license checks, registration, download protections, update security, signatures, or technical protection measures except where prohibited by law.
  • Share, sell, rent, transfer, or publicly distribute license keys, credentials, protected links, installers, or update packages contrary to these Terms.
  • Attack, scan, overload, scrape, or interfere with our website, accounts, APIs, downloads, licensing, payment, or support systems.
  • Misrepresent identity, payment, license status, device identity, or affiliation with PC Web Systems.

9. Your hosted content and systems

PC Web Systems does not claim ownership of websites or content you create or host. You are responsible for security, lawful operation, backups, access controls, updates, certificates, DNS, third-party services, and compliance with applicable laws and provider rules.

10. Support

Support may be provided through email, forms, account tickets, forums, documentation, or other available channels. We may decline support for unsupported versions, modified software, unauthorized copies, revoked licenses, abusive requests, or unlawful activity.

11. Trials, refunds, and cancellations

Trials, refunds, cancellations, and promotions are subject to the terms shown when offered. Unless a specific policy or applicable law says otherwise, downloadable software purchases may be final after payment verification, license issuance, or protected download access.

12. Intellectual property

The software, website, branding, documentation, code, designs, licensing, download, and update systems are owned by PC Web Systems LLC or its licensors. No ownership transfers except for the limited license expressly granted.

13. Third-party services

The website and software may use third-party components and services, including operating systems, Apache, PHP, MySQL, Cloudflare, payment processors, email providers, hosting, signing, and infrastructure. Their terms and policies may also apply.

14. Security

You may not test, scan, attack, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems. Report suspected security issues responsibly to [email protected].

15. Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the website, software, services, pricing, features, or these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted here.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts, licenses, downloads, updates, support, or access when Terms are violated, payment is reversed or fraudulent, a license is abused, or a security risk exists.

17. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, software, downloads, updates, documentation, and support are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or universally compatible operation.

18. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PC Web Systems LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profit, revenue, data, websites, databases, email, business interruption, security incidents, or inability to use the product. Total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the specific license giving rise to the claim.

19. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PC Web Systems LLC from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse, hosted content, violation of these Terms or law, or infringement of another person’s rights.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules unless applicable law requires otherwise.
